FYI...  granite, marble and any stone should always be tested by performing the "water test" prior to applying a sealer to determine if sealing is even necessary. If so, never let the sealer dry on the surface. The sealer must be allowed sufficient "dwell time" to absorb, however, all excess must be completely wiped clean of the surface before it dries.

To remove the streaky haze from dried sealer residue, you'll need to use acetone and a nylon or soft-bristle brush. Acetone is a solvent and solvents won't harm natural stone at all.

Pour acetone on a small area, spread it around, let sit 5 minutes, then scrub. Wipe up acetone, inspect area, and see if haze is removed. If so, repeat across entire surface.

If acetone does not remove the haze, then you'll need to try a more potent solvent like methylene chloride (found in paint strippers).
